I want to stay in Dublin until late and return to the ship prior to 11:30 p.m. What is the availability of cabs in Dublin? My sister said she did not recall seeing any cabs. I sure would appreciate your help. Linda.

Dublin has cabs aplenty. You'll have no trouble. There are several taxi companies.

We just got back a week ago. There are cabs on every corner. Had not problem from the airport to Dublin back to the airport and also to the Kalmaheim jail

I noticed that cabs in Dublin are not as well marked as the yellow cabs of New York, or the black cabs of London. They do have light bars on top, but usually not much in the way of special paint or decals. They looked mostly like very generic older VW Passats, but they were marked with a different insignia... I remember this, being the driver of a generic looking older Passat. It was kind of strange to see so many of "my" cars all over the place (with steering wheels on the right, etc.).
