Dublin in 10 hours?

Does anyone feel that a 12 o'clock arrival at hotel, and seeing Trinity College, St. Patricks, a pub, Grafton, St. Stephen's Green, & Temple Bar are possible before driving out in the a.m for part 1 of Ring of K. ? I figured 2 hrs. Trinity College, 1 hr. St. Pat's, 1 hr. pub, 2 hrs, Grafton, 2 hrs. St. Stephens, 2 hrs. Temple Bar. Done by ll pm. no? Driving part I of ROKerry in the a.m. Bob

It's doable for sure, but you may find your hour in the pub turns into many more. Don't think you will need that long for some of the things listed either.

I don't think Grafton Street is worth spending more than 1 hour unless you really love to shop, and even then, a lot of the stores are chain stores that aren't that much different than those you can find in any suburban shopping mall, the rest are souvenir shops. St. Stephen's Green is a nice place to walk around or picnic only if the weather is sunny. I like Merrion Square better than St. Stephen's as the perimeter has lots of Georgian architecture surrounding it with the colored doors, on certain days there are artists who hang their stuff up for sale on the fences surrounding Merrion Square, the Oscar Wilde statue is there and so is the joker's chair honoring Dermot Morgan. If you are trying to see the Book of Kells at Trinity, mid-day is not the best time to get in line as that's when lines are longest.

Commenting here from your PM for the benefit of others re: Brazenhead. Worth you time, interesting spot, but lots of tourists. When you are kicking around you will likely pass O'Donoghues. Stop in at night to hear some traditional Irish music. http://www.odonoghues.ie/

"....joker's chair honoring Dermot Morgan." If there has ever been a funnier TV program than "Father Ted," I've never seen it.

The fun of Grafton St is in listening to the musicians that are always performing along the way. I've been there and seen multiple groups/people even in February. St Stephens Green is just a big park with a pretty mall across the street. I agree that as a park, Merrion Square is more interesting.

The info. is appreciated. Merrion Square it is, if time and weather permits, St. Stephen's last. Will give Grafton a shot for the entertainer portion but I bet Temple Bar will have plenty of that. Someone online said Temple Bar is not the place at night?
Also, have any of you seen Henry St? Thanks again. This helps to not waste time and energy while touring.
