Dublin Holiday Inn or Somewhere Else?

I know it seems sacrilegious but there is a Holiday Inn on Pearse St close to the Dublin City Center. My wife and I can stay there for free (ex-VAT tax) with my Priority Club points. Does anyone have any experience or impression of this place?

Also, any other suggestions for a more trad-Irish experience would be appreciated.

This will be the end of a 10 night tour of Ireland so we'll have been well acclimated after Trim, Lisdoonvarna, Dingle and Kilkenny.

If you can get a place for free, JUMP ON IT! However also check out bewleyshotels.com or if you felt like splurging check out The Clarence (Bono and The Edge's hotel.)
