We will be in Dublin for two nights in July and I'm just beginning the search for family friendly budget accomodation. We are two families of five, travelling together, and will require parking for two cars. Any recommendations?

We stayed at Brookman Townhomes, just a short bus ride from city center. We had 2 families, one with 4, the other with 7. We had two 3br townhomes. There's parking right in front of the townhomes. It's a nice residential area, lots of shops and parks in walking distance, the booking company owns just a few townhomes in an otherwise privately-owned complex. The management is top-notch. They'll set you up with a big book of information and a welcome pack of food for breakfast. We paid 120 euro/night. You can find them at www.brookman.ie.
