Hi, I was wondering if anyone has been to one of the dinner/music shows in Dublin? The 2 that I have in mind are the Merry Ploughboys or the Irish House Party. These both get decent ratings on Trip Advisor. I am wondering if anyone has any knowledge whether one is better than the other and if they are worth the money that is spent on them. My husband I really enjoyed the Irish House party last spring on our visit to Dublin. The musicians were quite entertaining, even involving the audience, teaching us songs and Irish dance. You didn't have to participate however, if that's not your thing. We also thought the food was very good. There were people from all over the world at our table, so the conversation was interesting. We thought the experience was well worth the money we paid. I haven't seen the Merry Ploughboys, so can't help you on that one.
