Hi, all. I'll be in Dublin in May 2012 and am looking for a bed and breakfast there. Rick doesn't list any in Ireland 2011. Can anyone recommend a place--preferably in or near the City Center/St. Stephen's Green/O'Connell St., but open to other suggestions if you had a great experience. Thanks!

Tara, we stayed at Ariel House Hotel three weeks ago. It's in Ballsbridge, a bit further out, but near a DART station (3 minutes). A 20 minute walk walk with seniors to St. Stephen's Green. It was a recommendation from this site, and a good one by the way. On site parking and very good breakfasts, what more could anyone ask for?

I stayed at the Glen Guesthouse on Gardiner St, right behind the Custom House. It's a couple of blocks off of O'Connell St - very walkable to Temple Bar, Trinity College area, and the rest of the city center. Breakfast was included, and they have free parking.
