DUBLIN: 3-day freedom bus tickets?

The 3-day freedom bus tickets cost 25 euro. The ticket entitles you to return journeys on the express bus to and from the Airport and city cente, the hop- on hop-off city tour bus (green line) as many times as you wish and can also be used on the local bus service (i.e. number 77 or 77A). The ticket is valid for 72 hours from the time it is first validated.

My question: has anyone purchased this? And was it a good value?

That sounds fabulous. I'd like to know the answer to that question as well as we'll be there for 3 days in September....

If you plan to do a lot of traveling on the bus it might be a good deal. The hop-on, hop-off bus ticket is good for 24 hours by itself, though, and hits all the high spots that you'd probably want to see, so I'm not sure how much you would need the city bus. The city center is very walkable. Still, when you add the airport-city transportation, it's probably a good deal.
