Driving Time re Ring of Dingle

We will be in Ireland in early August: How long should I allow to drive the Ring of Dingle assuming "normal" sightseeing. We plan to begin the drive from Dingle City in the morning - say 9 AM, do the Ring & wind up in Adare the same day? Is this do-able?
Thanks in advance.

Actual driving from Dingle clockwise to Tralee is about three hours. That's on a continuim; toss in two spurs at about an hour each. Figure four stops of a half hour each on the actual loop. Tralee to Adare is at least an hour and a half. Nine hours with spurs, five if you haul tail and just stop to take a couple of pictures. Lunch not included, but you'll circle back through Dingle before crossing the Conor. Whatever mileage you calculate, figure you'll average (without stops) thirty per until you get past Tralee. After Tralee it will pick up a bit, but it's still two-lane (with some passing lanes), but there's trucks, busses, towns, driveway entrances, etc. Figure you might hit fifty, but you won't average it. 'Normal' sight seeing is undefined. The other half of the answer: we did it Tralee to Tralee leaving just before sunrise and getting back after dark - - maybe sixteen hours. We stopped for one pub meal.

I can' t say how long the driving time because I did it on a bike for my 50th birthday. I just had to say that because I am Irish and today is St. Patrick's Day. We were back in time to turn in the bikes ( before 5) and have a pint in the pub where we rented them.
