I will be driving in Ireland eight days, west and south from Dublin, and dropping car off at Shannon. What driving apps for my Iphone4S would people suggest? Thanks!

Will you have a data plan for your stay? Data use can be mega-expensive.

Carol, As the previous reply mentioned, you'll need to determine costs for data roaming. If you're using Apps that operate off-line, that will be less of a concern. It would help to know which cell network you're with. In some cases the GSM portion of the phone will have to be activated by your network. As the iPhone will likely be locked, you'll be limited to roaming with your home network and paying their rates. It is possible to get the phones unlocked in order to use SIM's from other networks, but that raises other questions. Cheers!
