I'm still in the planning stages and would appricate some advice. I would like to visit Bamburgh and Walworth Castles, and maybe Alnwick. My ideal plan would be to rail from Durham to Alnmouth and hire a driver (taxi or other service if available) for the day to take me around the area, then drop me back off at the rail station. I really prefer not to have to drive myself, since I will be solo and unfamilar with driving on the opposite side of the road. Does anyone know if this is possible and affordable, less than 200GBP for the day, and who I would have to contact?
