Has anyone been to the Promenade Bar and the Dorchester Hotel in London? Is there a specific dress code for evenings? (coat and tie required???) thanks!

Smart casual is the attire recommended for their noted tea service but unless you are a member of Parliament, a solicitor (attorney) or going to meet the Queen, I doubt a coat and tie is required. I'd also not saunter in wearing sandals and a T shirt. You could always email the hotel and ask as well.
