I have tried to e-mail University of Westmenster for rooms in July but the e-mail in Rick's book, Great Britain, doesn't have an icon for summer housing that I can see.

There are other university dorms in London, for instance Kings College, with several locations. According to their web site, Kings College does not do web reservations yet this year or maybe not at all. But they do have a phone number listed. Visitlondon.com has a list of college dorms under accommodations. Some are even reviewed on tripadvisor.

The London School of Economics offers a variety of accommodations in vacation times and all year round.

I've stayed at both University of Westminster rooms, and LSE rooms. Both different, but good.
