We're hammering out the itinerary for our trip to Ireland this summer, and the current version has s arriving in Doolin mid-day Sunday and spending Sunday and Monday nights there. Can anyone speak from experience about whether or not there will be live music on a Sunday night in June? Are pubs open at all?
Yes, the pubs are open, and yes, in June there will be music. However, I assume you have something to do on Monday other than sit around in Doolin? The Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, and Lahinch are very close, but Doolin is a tiny town with really nothing to see.
Yes, probably an excursion to the Aran Islands if the weather is fair, if not, the Burren. Just wanted two nights of trad :)
