Doolin B&B

Just curious if anyone has ever stayed at a B&B called Sea View? If so, could you provide your opinion of this and how far is it from the Cliffs of Moher? We would like to walk from Doolin to the cliffs, is this doable?

Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher is 13 km, a little over 8 miles. When we wanted to stay close to the cliffs, we stayed at Moher Lodge outside of Liscannor, on the Cliffs Road (about a five minute drive to the cliffs).

You can't walk to the Cliffs from anywhere in Doolin, but it's still a great spot to see the Cliffs. Once in Doolin, follow the signs to the harbor/ferry (to the Aran islands) or the beach (don't remember exactly what the sign said). The view back to the Cliffs from the Doolin beach is stunning (wish I could upload a photo). We were lucky enough to stumble upon it, no one had told us about it. The surf is also wild and amazing. If you are going in early summer and want to avoid the crowds at the Cliffs, drive over in the evening. It's light until quite late, the tour buses and most tourists are gone by late afternoon, and the visitor center doesn't close until 8pm. Have fun!
