Has anyone had any experience with Dooley Car rentals in Ireland? We're flying in to Shannon and getting a car there for 7 days. The price we're being quoted- which includes hefty CDW and SDW charges and is for car w/an automatic transmission are in the neighborhood of $665.00 USD We're still about 4 weeks out on travel dates so could make new reservations.
We have used Dan Dooley 3 times and are using them again in May for a 2 week rental. They have been great and no problems. They also have a "local" office in NJ, which I have found very helpful. 1-800-331-9301.

I've got one with manual transmission for most of May for $425 (with the cdw since my cc won't cover for Ireland). I've used them before, so have my friends.
Forgot to mention, if you enter IRISHDANCER in the promo code box, you will get a 10% discount.
Irishdancer didn't do anything for my quoted rates. It must have expired.
Sorry the promo code did not work. Suggest you call the US 800 number I gave above and see if they can get it to work. They are very helpful. Also we were able to pay our rental 30 days before car pick-up, with credit card and no tranaction fee and no surprises at the airport desk.
To answer your question, I have used Dooley in the past with no problems and nice staff.
Budget.ie has the best all inclusive rates in Ireland right now. Be careful and make sure all charges are included and get in writing in an email or there may be surprises at the rental counter.
