Do you think this is OK for Ireland?

Have been struggling with our itinerary for a while now... any suggestions to this itinerary? We will be there October 21st-November 4th. I also know that Halloween is a bank Holiday, and hope that won't interfere with the Ring of Kerry & our stay in Kenmare at all. Day 1 (Friday): Fly into Shannon, drive to Doolin – settle in/dinner & trad (sleep in Doolin) Day 2 (Saturday): Cliffs of Moher & The Burren, dinner & trad (sleep in Doolin) Day 3 (Sunday): Connemara/County Mayo Loop (sleep at Dolphin Beach House just outside of Clifden) Day 4 (Monday): Clifden/Beach House (sleep at Dolphin Beach House, Clifden) Day 5 (Tuesday): Remainder of Connemara/County Mayo Loop & Galway City (Sleep in Galway) Day 6 (Wednesday): Aran Islands & Galway pub scene in evening (Sleep in Galway) Day 7 (Thursday): Drive to Dingle (Sleep in Dingle) Day 8 (Friday): Dingle Day Off (Sleep in Dingle) Day 9 (Saturday): Dingle Peninsula Drive (Sleep in Dingle) Day 10 (Sunday): Dingle Day off (Sleep in Dingle) Day 11 (Monday): Ring of Kerry drive leaving from Dingle (Sleep in Kenmare) Day 12 (Tuesday): Drive to Kinsale, stop to see Blarney & Kinsale Town (Sleep in Kinsale) Day 13 (Wednesday): Day trip to Cork/Cobh & Middleton Distillery (Sleep in Kinsale) Day 14 (Thursday): Drive to Rock of Cashel from Kinsale, explore, drive to Bunratty Castle, explore (Sleep in Shannon – already booked)
Day 15 (Friday): Fly back to Sacramento

Looks good to me. You might want to plan some alternate activity in case the weather doesn't permit the trip to Aran Islands, but since you will be in Galway, you should find plenty to do.

Did you book nights in Doolin. Not that it would be crowded end of October but we like to have our first night booked especially after long flight from US. Just an idea. Although we LOVED Dingle, I personally think I would take a day away from Dingle and spend it someplace else. Enjoy.

Hi Gail! :) Yes, we booked at the Daly House in Doolin for 2 nights. :) Where would you suggest instead of 4 nights in Dingle?

I am glad you pre-booked. That said, I knew you would ask me where else to go. Can't say for sure, how about Beara Pensinula? FYI, when in Cobh, go to St. Colman's church on the hill for a beautiful view of harbor. Also suggest you find a b&b in Dingle town itself. We stayed at the LIghthouse and loved it, had free car park and beautiful view but it was a LONG walk up the hill at night in the dark especially after a night in pub. I think one of the better pubs in Dingle for music is called Six (maybe seven) Bridges. Have fun.
