My family did a daily mealusually lunchfrom a "Deal Meal" at Tesco, Sainsbury, and Boots. For 3-5 Pounds each you got a sandwich, chips or snack, and a drink. Some options available were pasta salads, sushi, etc. I didn't get a bad sandwich therethough the flavors were a bit of an adventure. We also hit grocery stores to do the picnic thing. There is a 24 hour Co-Operative food store non the Strand next to Trafalgar Square. The grocery stores usually had a flyer or circular of specials when you came in. If you have access to a microwave there are ready made things available too. (Avoid the microwave Fish Pieyour room will never get the smell out!) Also there is a big difference in price between eat-in and takeaway.
