Dingle Restaurants

I would appreciate hearing about any restaurants (or pubs that served food) you visited in Dingle that you particularly enjoyed. We are most interested in seafood and traditional Irish cuisine but would consider others. (I plan to search this topic but would like recent posts as well.) Thank you.

"Out of the Blue" has been voted the top seafood restaurant in Ireland several times. It is seafood only. I am a retired chef and it is seldom that I will eat lunch at a restaurant and then return for dinner. The atmosphere may be lacking a little but the food will more than make up for it.

Gail,

Pat is right on. Out of the Blue served the best seafood dinner I've ever had. Their fish so fresh that if weather prevents the boats from going out that day, they don't open!

Went last month to Out of the Blue, pricey but worth it. Ashe's was great, ate there 2x. New galette place with French couple, good for lunch/snack as that is all they serve. John Benny Moriarty, pub, was also excellent.

Gail,

We were there in October and we ate every night at Murphy's pub (right by the harbor). Hands down the best seafood chowder I have ever eaten. It was just incredibly fresh. The atmosphere was great, however I learned after the fact it was a bank holiday and thats why it was so busy and the live band. But that place holds some of the best memories from our trip!

Have a great trip!
