Dingle Peninsula- Hotel recs?

My husband and I are flying into Shannon in early March for a work trip for him. We have 2 full days before he is "on the clock" in Limerick. Any hotel or sights to see we should check out in the Shannon area? I'm thinking trying to do the Dingle Peninsula and then drive to Limerick.

With only two days, you're correct that your best strategy is to drive directly from Shannon to the Dingle Peninsula and not tarry in the Shannon area. You probably already know that March is not the best time of the year for weather, but it sounds like at least one of you has a free trip being paid for by the company so who is complaining about the weather, right? Just bring rain gear and wool sweaters. The circular tour described in Rick's book is a good option, and sleeping can be done in any of the recommendations in Rick's book.

We stayed at the Captain's House in Dingle and liked it. Good location, comfortable room, and a nice breakfast. Definitely take warm clothes and wool sweater, turtlenecks, raingear, etc. Enjoy!

We stayed at the Cill Bhreac House in Dingle. It was a quaint little place and if you get one of the front rooms you will wake up to a beautiful view of Dingle Bay. Have fun!

Two nights are needed in Dingle to give you a full day to travel around Dingle Peninsula.Cill Bhreac B&B is good and next door is Milestone House(inRicks book) and Dunlavaan B&B both of which are also excellent.

Thanks, all for the recommendations! Unfortunately the first two properties recommended are not accepting guests, so I'm waiting on confirmation from the last two! Cross my fingers...
