Dingle - Best place to stay?

We are spending 3 nights in Dingle for my 50th Birthday... Thanks to all your great suggestions! I would like to stay in the heart of the town so we can walk to many, many pubs on my big day... Any suggestions? 4-6 adults... B&B or hotel is fine...
Thanks!!! Lisa

Lisa, You might consider the Alpine Guesthouse. It's in a great location and within easy walking distance to the local Pubs. The rooms are comfortable, the owners are great and they serve a nice breakfast. Happy travels!

We stayed at the Kirrary House Bed & Breakfast and had a great time. It's right in the center of town and it's like being part of the family. Her husband leads the local archaeological tours including Ricks' groups when they come through. There are a ton of great BnBs in town and everyone has their favorite. Have a great trip,

We returned a few weeks ago and stayed a few days at the Towerview B&B. It is located on the west edge of town, a 10 minute walk into the center of town. The view is fantastic and the accomodations great. I love their large gathering room, real homey. Nice to be able to sit around and relax over a cup of coffee. The breakfast is great.

You should definitely stay at the Greenmount Inn. It is a great place with wonderful rooms and views. Maybe a block or two walk into town, but worth it. The family are gracious hosts and the breakfast is wonderful! Dingle was our favorite town.

We have stayed at both Greenmount and Castlewood. Both are lovely elegant B&Bs; however, I think Castlewood is a better location. It is directly across from the bay so when you walk back you are in a well-lighted area (Dingle is safe - I mention the "well-lighted" because the pavement can be uneven) and it's flat instead of uphill. For a special dinner, consider Out of the Blue. Best fish we had on our entire 20 days in Ireland.

We stayed at The Castlewood House last June for two nights and it was wonderful. Best breakfasts we had in our two weeks in Ireland. Hosts are incredibly helpful and knowledgable. It is more of a modern hotel/inn- so if you are looking for something rustic or true B&B like, this may not be for you; but it was close to town and right across the road from the bay.
Out of the Blue is a great seafood place. Tom
