Dingle accommodations

Hi... any good suggestions for B&B accommodations in Dingle area??? (preferably not expensive)

We loved the Milestone B&B. The owners were so accomodating and helped in every way. They even noticed we had a gas leak in our car and helped arrange a new car. They might be a little pricey but I highly recommend them.

I cannot say enough good things about Emlaugh Lodge. So fantastic, clean, and a nice short walk from town. (15 min)

I also recommend the Milestone B&B. I did not think they were pricey at all. We paid 70 euro per night, which was the same we paid at the other B&B's we stayed in. Barbara & Michael were wonderful. They have hand-drawn maps of both Dingle and the peninsula, with recommendations of where to go.

We stayed there two nights. The first night my hubby enjoyed the pubs and the Guinness just a little too much, so he didn't want to go out the second night. Barbara let us watch a movie in the living room and brought us some wine to drink.

The breakfast is cooked to order and was fantastic. Probably the best I have eaten at any B&B anywhere. Well, the lobster omelet I had in Maine was pretty good too.

I think you can't go wrong at the Milestone.

Can highly recommend the Lighthouse B & B. Good sized rooms, 'to die for' breakfast served in a room with views over the Dingle Peninsula. Warm and generous hosts. www.lighthousedingle.com

Cant comment on experience, only what I have booked for this March! But I found "the Lantern Townhouse" had reasonable prices and included breakfast, and is apparently in the middle of town.... google it to get reviews....

I made a post, but not sure where it went...anyways, try #2:

I have booked 4 days in Dingle at The Lantern Townhouse.
It's (my) budget friendly & apparently in the middle of town... here's the website: (we're talking a single w/breakfast for 30 Euro here): http://www.dinglebedandbreakfast.com

Monica,

You might have a look at This B&B in Dingle. It's in a great location for walking into town, the owners are great, rooms comfortable and there's a laundry close-by.

Cheers!
