We are about to board our flight to Dallas and on to London tonight. A crown just broke off. I can't do anything til we arrive, if then. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The US embassy web site should have suggestions for dentists. Or you could look for an expat website for recommendations. What insurance do you have? Sometimes they'll have recommendations online or via phone.
I am sure your concierge in London could help you.

"Some of us actually stay in hotels, B&Bs, apartments etc that don't have concierges..." Then I'm sure the front desk at the hotel, the owners of the B&B or the people who rented you the apartment will be able to help you find a dentist.
Yes, even the concierge-less will be able to ask whoever is at the front desk, owns the place, etc. Yelp has a BUNCH fo reviews, too: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=dentist+reviews&ns=1&find_loc=London%2C+UK
Hi Dellinda, you should go do Guys Dental Hospital, Great Maze Pond, phone 020 7188 8006. They take walk ins. My husband had to go there one year...had great service.
