Looking for the best day trip out of London in November. Looking at Oxford , Cotswolds. Rail is first choice of transportation. Any suggestions?
Richard, see the comments Joel has received - same question.

There are LOTS of day trips by rail from London. Check out my article for AAA Carolina's "Go" magazine about just that. Here is the link http://www.aaacarolinas.com/Magazine/2008/Jan-Feb/britain.htm?zip=28201&stateprov=nc&city=charlotte
Let me know what you think. Feel free to PM me if you want additional info or ideas.
Hi Richard, we actually stayed in Oxford for part of our trip and it was lovely, we also visited Bath, Salisbury, and Windsor all of which we enjoyed. Let me know if you would like any further details.
Bath was wonderful,,I didn't expect to see Roman Ruins,, ( should have paid more attention in history classes, LOL ) .
Brighton was a tad dissappointing to us.. wouldn't do it again.
