critique our itinerary of Ireland

We'd appreciate any guidance. We'll be in Ireland in early June, with 14 days on the ground and a rental car. We're flying into and out of Dublin (no choice). My companion really wants to visit Bunratty and Newgrange; I really want to visit Glendalough, Knock, and Clonmacnoise. We've been to Ireland before, but not for many years. We'd welcome any thoughts. Do any distances look unrealistic? Any suggestions of the most central place to stay in the Killarney/Kenmare area? Thanks in advance. Here's our current plan: 1. Arrive Dublin early morning, visit Glendalough, stay nearby. 2. to Cashel via Kilkenny 3. Cashel 4. Cork/Kerry mountains 5. to Kenmare/Killarney area 6. Kenmare/Killarney area 7. Kenmare/Killarney area 8. to Dingle 9. Dingle 10. Bunratty for day and evening 11. the Burren 12. Knock 13. Clonmacnoise 14. Newgrange tombs
15. Depart from Dublin

If you're arriving early, you have plenty of time to visit Glendalough and then continue on to Kilkenny that same day. Cashel is a very dreary town, the only positive to staying overnight is seeing the castle all lit up. It is definitely a pretty sight to see, but not worth an overnight in my opinion. I'd visit Cashel on the drive from Kilkenny to Cork. That will also free up one day so you can add it somewhere else, preferably make one of those 1 night stays (I despise those) into 2 nights so you can relax without having to drive and really take in the town.

My input is similar to the 1st post. On the arrival day, as you're en route to Glendalough stop off to see Powerscourt Estate (castle) & Gardens (near Enniskerry). Spend the 1st 2 nights in Kilkenny. Kilkenny is worth a day in itself (castle, shopping etc.)
Ditto on not staying in Cashel.

We are still planning a similar trip in May. Does anyone have
a suggestion for a B&B in Kilkenny? Thanks.
