I will be going from Stow-on-the-Wold to Paris on June 1st (a Sunday). I want to purchase tickets for the Chunnel from London to Paris now so that I can get the cheapest prices but when looking at transport to London from Moreton in Marsh train terminal these tickets aren't yet available. So I looked at other Sunday schedules but looks like trains don't leave before 9:50am. Meaning ...I have to purchase a later chunnel ticket at a higher price, the cheapest one leaves at 1pm which cuts it really close. Does anyone know if schedules change much in the summer or should I just get the pricier afternoon ticket to be safe. (I am needing 4 tickets/3 youth&1 adult)
Thanks.....
According to the timetables at www.nationalrail.co.uk, if you leave Moreton-in-Marsh at 09:53, you will arrive at London Marylebone at 12:33. By the time you get to London St. Pancras International the 13:00 Eurostar will have left. In fact, because you must check in at least 30 minutes before departure, you'll just be able to catch the 14:04 Eurostar.
