Is it possible to get from the Cotswolds to Edinburgh by train in one day with a stop at Hadrian's Wall? What about by car?
Thanks.

I don't know what the train connection are from the Cotswolds; but, I took the train from London to Edinburgh a few years back. It was a 4 hour train ride and went past York and Hadrian's Wall and I guess I could have gotten off if I had planned too. A few years later we rented a car and did the Costwolds, Lake District, Hadrian's Wall (not the area I saw from the train), Robin Hood's Bay and York before dropping our car off at Manchester. We did not get up to Edinbugh on that trip. It was alot of driving and we made a week trip out of it staying at bed and breakfasts along the way.
