Copenhagen in June

Hello all, we will be in Copenhagen in June for 2 days only, can anyone recommend the best area to stay in in order to insure we see as much as possible during our stay.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, right across the street from Tivoli. It was a great hotel in a perfect location for walking around Copenhagen. We took a taxi from the beautiful airport. We had a room overlooking the street, but it was very quiet. We were there for five nights. We ate breakfast every morning in their restaurant, overlooking the street. It was a very all around, modern hotel. It was entertaining to watch all the bicycles, people walking and strollers going by. We could watch the comings and goings of Tivoli and the fireworks at night, from our room. We were there in September. We also ate at the Hardrock restaurant right across from the hotel. It was tasty food in pleasant surroundings.

Most of the stuff that people travel to Copenhagen to see sits in a relatively compact area. Any location in the center (bound by the ring of canals and Øresund) should fit your needs. I would recommend something closer to Nyhavn or Nørreport over Tivoli, mainly because that's a very high-traffic area. Seemed to me like it would be a little too noisy at night.

hi, im heading there this Sept and got a room at the Cab-inn City. Its like the Easyhotels. Not alot of room but are inexpensive and meets my needs to plop my head and bod. The Cab-inn city is a few blocks SE of the train station and just the same from distance to Tivoli Gardens. Not really central to my usual needs, but way less expensive. happy trails.

Hi Wayne,
We stayed at the Admiral in Nyhaven. It is a converted grain warehouse right on the canal. Beautiful.

The Radisson Blu we stayed at was very quiet and convenient to the rail road station and to the walking areas. Even though it was across the street from Tivoli, we heard no noise on the higher floor.
