Would to have some options for hotels in Copenhagen at the airport and downtown for a few days. Conviences to food, metro, some shopping.

I'll be staying at Copenhagen Strand Hotel and Hotel Opera next week and early August. They are both a short walk (a few blocks) from the Stroget and Kongen's Nytorv Metro station which gets you to the airport quickly and easily. I won't be able to give you a good review until I get back.
I picked them based on reviews on tripadvisor.com and got a decent deal online (about $125 per night for a double including breakfast). There were cheaper options but these seemed the best value for the money.

We stayed at the Admiral at the end of May, a little pricier, but on the canl. Beautiful hotel great service.
