We are planning a day trip to Cobh. Does anyone know what days cruise ships visit Cobh or how to find their schedule? Cobh is a small city and we would like to avoid being there when cruise ships dock.

You can e-mail the tourist office at the Cobh Harbor Chamber of Commerce and request this year's schedule of liners. We were hoping to see 1 in port when we stayed at The Commodore Hotel. The ships passing through the harbor are massive and quite a sight.
I believe there is only 1 road to and from "The Great Island" of Cobh; there is also a train from Cork, which is fun and no traffic. And the train station doubles as the Cobh Heritage Center.
