I've been collecting clothing made of synthetic material, easy to hand-wash, easy to dry. But, I would like to find a packable hat that is not a baseball cap or a fishing hat; something that would look OK with slacks and a polo shirt, and keep the sun off my head and ears. Again, easy to wash and dry, if possible. Does anyone know of an online source I might try ? In addition, I'm thinking about taking a small pair of binoculars or opera glasses, to use both outdoors and at the theatre, if they are permitted in theatres. Does anyone have any recommendations ? Opera glasses are certainly allowed. Some theatres have them available for rent at the seats (a coin operated thingy).
I like to take my own, as those ones are not that great usually. I have a lovely pair of binoculars made by Minolta. They are flat and about the size and shape of a pack of cigarettes. They fit into a pocket easily and are great quality. I paid quite a bit for them, but they're worth every penny.
