Does anyone have any opinions on the town and on B&B's there? I've been considering this as an alternative to Kinsale - thinking it might be less touristy.

i do not think it will be a problem to get a B&B in Clonakilty and it look amazing there i hope you enjoy your stay there and i hope my info has helped

Vistited Clonakilty last September. Not as scenic as Kinsale, but a nice town. Did not stay there, so cannot comment on B&Bs.
