Has anyone stayed in a Cliften B and B in 2013 which they would recommend?

You might find it easier to look up B&Bs in that area if you spell the name of the town correctly - it's Clifden. There are several nice B&Bs on the Sky Road, not far from the town center.

The Quay House is lovely. It is right across from the quay; you can easily walk to most of the restaurants in town from there.

We loved the Abbeyfields which is located on Sky Road. It is very charming with a "house party" atmosphere. Great breakfast and they do dinner as well.
