Has anyone done the boat cruise? Was it worth it?

I haven't done it, but I have heard that it can be spectacular -- if weather doesn't interfere. What time of year are you thinking of going?

we just got back from an 8 day trip to Ireland. We did the cliff via foot and boat. Well worth the time for both, imo.
The cruise was 1 hour and cost 10 euro each.
When you book the cruise, go to the place that has to offices connected instead on the single standing office.
The single office guy was very rude and was 5 euro more than the other place!

If you're going from Doolin, you can also get a deal by doing both the cliffs cruise and the ferry to the Aran Islands. But whichever way you choose, do shop around for the best deal. We had a large group going to the Aran islands and were able to negotiate good rates.

Thank all of you for your respones, I think we'll try to do the cruise if it's a nice day. 2 years ago we did the Amalfi coast from Serrento northward for aabout2 hours and it was GREAT. We loved the different perspective.

I didn't see anything on the Cliffs of Moher website about a cruise. Where can I find information about it?

You can book Cliffs tours by boat at several places in Doolin.
