Classical music and Opera festivals in London, June and July.

I read about these events in the Times newspaper and thought I'd post them here for anyone travelling to London this summer.

June 11-26 at Spitalfields market www.spitalfieldsfestival.org.uk

City of London June 21-July 9, spread over 21 venues and ranges from jazz to Baroque, with music from Portugal and Brazil, plus celebrations of Chopin's 200th birthday (my, he IS getting on a bit!) www.colf.org

We can add to that list the yearly Proms concerts held at the Albert Hall. I think it´s in August, although I could be wrong.
