Christmas sleigh ride in England?

As central valley Californians we looking for a sleigh ride in the snow experience for Christmas in England. Any ideas

You are most likely out of luck. Theres been a run of green and warm christmases in the 90's.However, snow is a near certainty in the scottish mountains.Indeed had a covering early last month. Try Loch Morlich.

That said anything is possible, a town near me had the cricket stoped because of Snow in June.

Check out Aviemore- in the Caringorm Mts. in Scotland. Neat little village and in the middle of the National Park. It has snowed everytime we've been there in the winter (late Nov/early Dec)

Aviemore , is certainly good for transport links,I think Braemar is the snowiest town in Uk though.Loch Morlich, is a few miles south of Aviemore, thye have "outdoors" stuff there year round.And of course theys the somewaht controversail funicular , up caingorm mountain.There snow up the Cairngorms 6/7 months of the year, and some somefield s last year round.Its a VERY harsh climate up there, last years storms blew at 170mph.
