Christmas in the Cotswolds

My wife and I are considering a trip to the Cotswolds over next Christmas. Does anyone have any idea what it will be like over there? I've been there in the Autumn, and it is wonderfully charming. However, I don't know what to expect for Christmas. Any help that any of you have would be great. Thanks and Happy New Year!

About 4 years ago I arrived the day after Christmas and stayed through New Years and it was fabulous! About 50 degrees, very few tourists and all the decorations were still up. Stratford, Warwick Castle, Oxford, Bath, York, a day trip to a beach town in Wales, Nottingham, Robin Hoods Bay... it was wonderful. Endless fields of sheep, thatched roofs, cream tea, sausage pies, quaint villages... it was one of my favorite trips ever. I was just there again in mid Nov. and it was also great. A few new towns and one that had such magnificient thatches, but I can't remember the name. Very small with just a church, pub, school and some houses, but wonderful. Even though this trip was great the one over New Years had a 'special something', also it was my first trip to the Cotswalds. I would highly recommend it! I think I have some of my travel images from my first trip on my website terrykathrynlawrence.com I am a photographer so that also makes me happier when there aren't as many other people around. I like to take 'the road less traveled', so often times I travel during the offseason. Have a great trip!
