My family of adults will be going to Ireland for Christmas and New Year's this year. Here is my itinerary. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions. Fly into Cork- spend two nights and rent a car Killarney- one week timeshare unit (spend one night in Dingle). Dublin- one week apartment rental Cork- one night and fly back to LAX.

I know that there are a lot of seasoned travelers to Ireland and I wanted to know what they think of my itinerary and any suggestions for the areas that I will be traveling in. (Such as day trips to different areas and sights not to be missed).

Can you give us an idea of what you have planned already? All you have mentioned is three places to stay. For example, what day trips do you plan from each area? I wouldn't necessarily suggest spending two nights in Cork, but I don't know what you plan to do while you are there. It's hard to comment on an itinerary when all we know is where you plan to stay. You might also give us some idea of your interests - history? scenery? shopping? sports? museums? What dates do you plan to arrive and leave? (Remember that things will be closed on the holidays.)
