I am coming to Scotland for my first time in January with my good friend. We at in our early 20s and thought it would be fun to spend a few nights in a castle near Inverness. Does anybody have any recommendations for a nice hotel that is reasonable in price?

Will you have a car? If not, there are some good hotels on Ness Bank, but not castles. I stayed at Glen Mhor a few years ago and the Glenmoriston is supposed to be nice. There are good restaurants and pubs in the city that you would enjoy. I did read about a great place outside of Nairn. Maybe someone else can remember it. I'll keep trying. Pam
