I mailed my "letter of invite" for the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London 2 weeks ago. Has anyone ever attended this ceremony and how long does it take to receive a response? Our trip is in October.
I took this tour a few yrs back. Realize first the Royal Post is very slow. Assuming you sent correct postage and GBP I would allow at least 3 weeks. It is a fun tour.
Hi - we just got back from London and witnessed the Ceremony of the Keys. It took about a month to receive a response.
Thanks for your responses. I think I did everything correctly. I guess it will take some time.
Cindy, did you ever receive your pass for the Ceremony of the Keys? I received a response yesterday (also for an October visit) in just over one week!
This sounds interesting. Would anyone mind telling me how to go about this? I'll be in London in November. Would love to check it out. Thanks. :-)

Thank you Kent :-)
Cindy, make sure you aren't late not even a minute. A
Yeoman Warder will come open the gate at 9:35pm as soon as everyone is in he will close the gate and will not open it again. We were there two different times when someone walked up right after the gate was closed and the people were not admitted. I have gone to The Ceremony of the Keys five times and love it everytime.
Yes, I did receive my tickets! It took about 3 weeks to get mine. I am so excited - sounds very interesting!
WE got our response in about two weeks.
