Any recommendation for an apartment in the heart of London.
My husband and myself are non smokers and love to walk to tourist attractions. Will need at least one full week starting October 16, 2007

You ought to try the Astons Apartments. Haven't stayed there but looking into it, they offered us 93 GBP a night including VAT, and tripadvisor.com has great reviews.

Janet, there are numerous websites for London Apartments. I've stayed twice at Vancouver Studio Apartments in Bayswater. Bayswater is very diverse and there are two tube stops. It is close to Notting Hill and Hyde Park. Friends have stayed at the Ashton Apartments and swear by them. At Home in London, CottageNet.co.uk and Londonby are links that offer apartment rentals.

Hi Jan,
The web site shown below is called 'Vacation in Paris', but when you get their home page on screen, click on "all apartments" and scroll down to the very bottom - where a couple of London rentals are listed.
The rental company is based in the USA. Also, you would probably have your London apartment key before you leave Granite Bay.
