What is the best Castle Banquet in southern and/or SW Ireland? My wife and I will be in Ireland for 3 weeks beginning September 15, 2008. Thanks, Dorsey

The only one I have been to is the one at Bunratty Castle. I had seen it featured on Good Morning America a few years back. We really enjoyed it, but have no basis for comparison. We arrived a bit early and toured the park first before going to the castle. We were greeted and wisked up the stairs for a wonderful medieval feast with music, singing, acting, etc. We really felt we went back in time.

We stayed one night in Kinvarra and went to the Dunguaire medieval banquet.It was excellent.We stayed at a small B&B a short distance away.The food was good and the show was outstanding.
