We are traveling to both London and Barcelona with our 4 year old. She weighs 42 lb now, from my research she will need a E approved seat with a back to travel legally. We will be traveling in private cars in addition to public transportation. I would prefer we just bring a seat vs renting or buying one when we get there. I can't for the life of me figure out if there is a car seat that is sold in the U.S that is for her weight and is E approved. Anyone have any suggestions? We will travel in late July and if she can reach 48lbs by then I think she can use a backless booster, but I don't think she will gain that much that quickly.. Thanks for any help.

If you can't get a suitable one in the US, you could order it from Amazon.co.uk and have it sent to your London accommodations.
