I was wondering if anyone has purchased carseats in Scotland or Ireland instead of renting them. The company in Ireland I just checked with wants $150 for one week for two seats. Seeing as we will be spending a week in Scotland as well maybe I can come out ahead by purchasing some. We'll be coming from Italy so I can't bring them w/ me from the states. Any insight to offer??

Do you belong to AAA? I know in the states if you rent with Hertz, you can get one carseat for free with an AAA membership.
