Cardiff Wales B&Bs

My 80 year old, spritely parents are planning a trip to base in Cardiff in June - with day trips from there. Walking distances is a challenge so am looking for a centrally located, clean and well-priced B&B for them to call home. Suggestions welcome! With thanks M

We stayed at the Town House B&B in Cardiff. It was quite nice. I'm not sure what would be reasonable walking distances for them? We walked from the B&B to the end of the block and then went through the park to get to the town center. Not too far.

That's certainly doable - many thanks for the tip. Any other tips and tricks for that area warmly welcome! Thanks again, M.

There's a wonderful art museum within close walking distance. Also, in the park you can catch a water taxi to take you to the waterfront which is very picturesque - lots of restaurants and activities. The cardiff castle is right when you come out of the park. It wasn't our favorite castle, though a lot of people really like it.

Cardiff is a wonderful city. There is a neat market in a decomissioned church not far from the main pedestrian shopping area. The park in the previous post is lovely.
