Does anyone know of a good car rental company in Ireland? Europcar, Avis, Hertz?

Irish Car Rentals -- www.eirecar.com.
It's the only company I use in Ireland. They have always had the best rates when I have been looking.

If you are a Costco member, try their web site for booking with Hertz. We got a great rate back in 2003. (picked up and dropped off at Dublin airport). I was unfamiliar with the company the previous poster mentioned so didn't compare with their prices in 2003. However, Costco's price would give you something to compare when you check with the other company. Most of the other companies I have used on trips to the continent were considerably higher (Europcar, autoeurope, etc) but that was about 6 years ago...so who knows.
