Which car rental company in England is the best for price, fleet of maintained cars and customer service?

I personally like Enterprise over here. We'll pick you up is something I like. I have also liked Europcar.

When we went to England in 2003, we rented from Hertz. We went through Costco and got the best price compared to others we tried. You might also try Andy at Gemut as he can comparison shop for you.

You might try AutoEurope as they broker all the company's & seem to be quite price competative & good quality

We have not travelled yet, but it has been very nice dealing with Autoeurope so far...and their prices in England seem very good to us.
