I'm renting a car in London from Hertz. I plan on taking a ferry to Ireland and would like to ferry the car as well rather than returning it to London. Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on taking a car rental to Ireland? Any assistance is appreciated.

I think you would have to check with Hertz for their policies to be sure. I can tell you, though, that renting in one country and dropping off in another can be very costly, since they tack on a large fee for that. You might be better off to drop off your UK car and rent a different one in Ireland.
