Wondering if anyone has any idea whether it would be more economical/practical to rent a car and drive from Glasgow to Fort William and back (3 days) or better to just hop on the train and go round trip?? Thanks!!

You can take a bus from Buchanan Station to Ft. William and back as well as the train. The bus leaves about midmorning and returns late afternoon. Its a beautiful ride.

Tania, what do you want to do in Fort William when you get there? If you want to explore the countryside, then I would rent a car drive. You could take the train and rent a car there, but it depends the timing and your own plans. Pam
