Car Insurance ref www.insurance4carhire.com "Excess Insurance"

We booked a car from National in London and again in Dublin. Plan to get collision damage waiver 1 and theft protection 1. On line I see supplemental insurance from insurance4carhire.com. Price 49GBP for 31 days to cover the policy holders, driver(s)) of a car. Is this legit, has anyone used them or similiar on line company? Looking for advise. Also what about personal liability?
I have looked at credit card coverage and am not comfortable to be liable for damage cost when turning in car and then need to provide all doc to card company for reimbursed.

We've used insurance4carhire.com for supplemental insurance in Ireland. It covers the deductible for the CDW, ours was 1100 euro. If you check further on the website, you'll see that the insurance is actually through AIG, insurance4carhire is just the middleman. But you will have to pay the deductible and get reimbursed if anything happens to the car. We got a doozy of a scratch and had to file a claim. Make sure to have a copy of the policy with you so you know what paperwork you need to keep before coming home. It took about 6 weeks to get reimbursed. As a side note, though, I didn't consider the foreign exchange rates on my credit card when I got all excited about how much money I was saving. The credit card fee for the deductible I was charge was around $50, so don't forget to factor that in, if your card charges those fees.
