Car hire from Heathrow to kensington area

Hi all - Rather than paying for 2 or more taxis, I'm looking for a car hire for 8 people (4 adults 4 kids) from Heathrow to our hotel in the Kensington area. Then from our hotel to the EuroTunnel station 2 days later as we're departing for Paris.

Any ideas on good companies? Reasonable is always a plus!

Thanks Steve - I will go check there now.

I'd prefer a private hire, so that's what I'm looking for.

For a private car service many people on the Fodor's board recommend Just Airports. There is a good discount for paying cash. To calculate the fare on the Web site, use SW7 (postal code for Kensington). The cash fare for an 8-passenger MPV Transporter is 81 GBP, but there may not be room for all your luggage.

You can also check with Ray Skinner at london-transfers.com to see what his price would be. We have used his services 4 or 5 times and highly recommend him.
